Requirements for Applicants

Prospective applicants must meet the following qualifications:

U.S. Citizenship: All candidates must be U.S. citizens.
Age: Must be 21-39 years of age.
Education:
- 60 accredited college credits
- or 30 credits with 2 years active-duty military service
- or 30 credits with 2 years as a DE certified police officer
- or 30 credits with 2 years as an out-of-state Trooper

Driver’s License: Possession of a valid Driver's License (not suspended, revoked or canceled, or disqualified from driving).
Backgrounds and Selection Process: Candidates for this position will be subject to a background investigation, a pre employment physical, drug testing, fitness testing, psychological testing, and a medical/criminal polygraph.
